Kreisverwaltungsreferat (KVR)

The KVR is the city department responsible for many everyday administrative services, including:

registration of residence (Bürgerbüro): Registering your address (Wohnsitz anmelden);
resident parking permits: Resident parking permits (Bewohnerparkausweis);
the district inspection (Bezirksinspektion), present at Residents' assemblies (Bürgerversammlungen).

Bürgerbüro visits need an appointment. Many services are also online: the city publishes the full list of its online services as open data (465 entries in the October 2025 list), which munichMCP searches alongside the service directory.

munichMCP does not book or scrape appointments. Automated appointment booking hurts residents by hoarding slots.
